ATHLETE OF THE MONTH
George Zerante
George's story is such an inspiration and proves that it's not what happens to you, but how you react that matters. After inheriting a terrible disease, George found his way out of depression through exercise and nutrition. On top of that, he's just a great person to be around. Congrats, George—February is yours!
STAFF FAVE FOUR
Here's a list of what we're loving and learning this month:
- Stephanie: Book I'm reading
"Social Animal" by David Brooks and "Mary Queen of Scotts and the Isles" by Margaret George—I love learning about why we are the way we are. We a inhertly social animals, but why? And I'm a sucker for anything historical from the Tudor Era. - Kelly: Thing I'm loving
Air Fryer—I'm not great at meal prepping for myself and this air fryer makes everything taste better in a shorter amount of time! Currently loving chicken thighs- crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. - Esther: Shoes I'm wearing
Reebok Nano 9’s—They’ve got a little bit more support through the arch of the foot and a wider toe box than what I typically wear for WODs and it’s much more comfortable even just standing in to coach. - Taylor: Show I'm watching
Stranger Things 3—Great music, great acting, great story line, and great vintage cars! Whats not to love.
