Reflecting on these past few months I’m really proud of what I’ve accomplished: I’ve always identified as a food person and that quickly, and very easily, becomes and easy excuse to over indulge all too often on tasty treats. In July I made a commitment with the help of @lifestylenutrition_coach to take charge of my nutrition with the goal of making it to a 63kg weight class. Two months later I’ve successfully dropped to a 63 and have a healthier relationship with food that now includes a nice balance of the occasional tasty treats and nutritionally dense foods. I can have my old fashioned glazed donuts and eat them too!
Thank you @bchilcz3 I am so grateful to you! ❤️ #Repost @lifestylenutrition_coach (@get_repost)

Becky came to me at the end of July wanting to cut weight for an Olympic Weightlifting meet, but didn't want to have to do any crazy super low-carb/calorie diets and had also been dealing with an on/off back injury limiting some of her training. .
.
The weight class she wanted to lift in was about 13 pounds away and we had less than 2 months (and as you can tell, Becky didn't have a TON of weight to lose as it was). .
.
Regardless of some flare ups of her injury, and periods of lack of exercise, we were able to cut her weight class in time and not even have to worry about any drastic "sweat-outs" or "hydration" tactics the week of.
.
She was sitting right under her weight class the week before weigh-ins. She ended up lifting above her expectations for the meet and didn't ever have to feel like she was starving her body or feeling miserable in the process. .
.
Be realistic with your goals. Work hard. Know your body and your results will come! Amazing transformation for an amazing girl and friend @itsbeckssss
